ACME Portable Machines specializes in unique field computing solutions that address needs not covered by standard commercial or industrial laptops. This includes providing boxes with extreme computing performance, more than any battery-powered system can deliver; machines that bring desktop-style expansion capabilities to the field; machines that do all this and still run on batteries; and now also a machine that brings not one, but three full 17-inch displays to remote computing projects.
Why would anyone need three displays in the field? There can be any number of reasons. Today's complex mapping and decision support systems frequently require more than one display, and many other computing applications benefit from extra screen real estate and multiple displays as well. 
The picture below shows some scenarios where multiple displays come in handy. As is, the Seahawk 100 has three bright (300 nits) 17-inch screen, each with SXGA (1280 x 1024 pixel) resolution. The two additional displays fold open and can be put at whatever angle works best. And ACME offers a touch screen option as well.
The punch required to drive such a graphics-intensive setup comes from a 2.83GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550S processor and the Intel X48 Express chipset. Massive storage is provided via three 3.5-inch 1-terabyte SATA disk. An additional attraction is the desktop-style complement of PCI expansion slots. You get two PCI-x, two PCI, and a PCI-e X16 slot.
A machine with three full LCD displays as well as three desktop-style disks and a whole battery of PCI expansion slots is not something you casually tote around. The ACME Seahawk measures about 14 x 14 inches and is 11.5 inches deep. 
It also weighs a hefty 65 pounds, so the emphasis is on portable rather than mobile in the common sense of the word. No batteries here either; a machine in this class needs AC power.
For connectivity there are six USB 2.0 ports and two RJ45 LAN ports, a couple of PS/2-style connectors and pretty much whatever else you need. Whatever additional connectivity or functionality is needed can be added via PCI card(s).
