According to DigiTimes, Getac Technology is optimistic about its performance in the second half of 2018, and expects to post a double-digit revenue growth for the whole year thanks to brisk demand for rugged PCs and automotive components, according to company chairman James Hwang. Getac had consolidated revenues of US$370 million for the first half of 2018, up 11.45% on year. In the first half of 2018, the ratio of revenues from sales of rugged computers surged to 48% from 42% in 2017, serving as a major revenue growth driver for the period. Zebra reports Q2 2018 financial results
Zebra Technologies reported sales of US$1,012 million for Q2, 2018, up from US$896 million a year ago. Operating income for Q2 2018 was US$125 million, up from US$58 million for Q2 2017. “Our second quarter results were driven by strong growth from our product and service offerings and disciplined operational execution.
