History: 2002 T-Mobile Pocket PC PhoneOn August 1, 2002, T-Mobile introduced in the US the T-Mobile Pocket PC, a device that fully integrated cellphone and PDA functionality a full five years before the iPhone was launched. No one knows just yet if the world is ready for a convergence between cell phones and PDAs." It'd take another five years until the world knew for sure, and the rest is history.
